DA Hike Update 2025: There is now a new update regarding dearness allowance (DA), which is for 1 crore 15 lakh central employees. Strong benefits will be given to employees for dearness allowances. This will also benefit central employees and pensioners. Big updates about dearness allowances have emerged for employees. The path toward a strong increase in the dearness allowance has been cleared. Soon, the government is going to announce the raise to employees. The dearness allowance for employees as central government employees will be implemented within January 2025. In this, salary arrears will also be paid to employees.
High Benefits Will Be Provided To Pensioners
The wait has been long for the central employees who were waiting for an increase in the dearness allowance. But now the wait for the employees is about to end. In the current week, the government will take the final decision in a cabinet meeting headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. There is a basic ratio that applies dearness allowance increases with inflation relief. To the employees, it is only termed as dearness allowance while for the pensioners this particular benefit is termed as dearness relief. Common to all government employees and pensioners is this incremental benefit.
How Much Will Be Dearness Allowance This Time?
The government may give, this time, a 2% increase in dearness allowance. It will be enhanced from 53% to 55%. The employees get this benefit twice every year-in the month of January and July. Though, this is basically to cope with the rise in inflation. It gets compensated as per percentage in salary.
Bumper Will Increase In Salary
The raise of 2 percent will also create a lot of difference in a salary of an employee. For the salary of an employee having a basic salary of Rs 1 lakh, the two percent hike in his salary will amount to making his dearness allowance (DA Hike) 55 thousand rupees. The raise at the same time is going to directly have an effect in the salary for government employees. In addition, an employee whose salary is 50,000 rupees will receive 27,500 rupees dearness allowance.
Growth Minimum Rs 360 Fixed
In other words, if an employee has a basic salary of Rs 18,000, he will benefit directly by Rs 360 in the 2 percent month salary increase. Presently, the employee is under 53 percent dearness allowance getting Rs 9,540. The employee will have the dearness allowance increased to Rs 9,900 after the 2 percent increase.
