New Mahindra Bolero Is Launching Soon With 18Kmpl Mileage, See Features & Price

Mahindra Bolero Launch: The legendary figure has stood up once again. The legendary persona, Mahindra Bolero, tough as nails and a no-nonsense performer, is all set to come in an all-new avatar. Mahindra is planning the next-gen Bolero with all modern features, upgraded designs, improved fuel efficiency, and rugged DNA intact. With a burgeoning demand for hard-core, rugged SUVs in India, it is most certain that the ‘new’ Bolero is coming back to reclaim its throne.

Mahindra Bolero Design

The new Bolero facelift will most probably adopt a bolder and more contemporary approach. Mahindra could offer a redesigned front profile with a new grille, LED DRLs, and a sharper headlamp setup to give the vehicle a more aggressive persona. It will bear an unmistakable boxy silhouette that is quintessentially Bolero, while sporty new alloy wheels, updated bumpers, and sleek tail lamps will ramp up its road presence.

On the whole, we do not think Mahindra will compromise Bolero’s core identity – the tough, rugged SUV that can go practically anywhere, cruising along poor roads and through remote countryside. Its high ground clearance and robust body ensure it’s a powerhouse for Indian driving conditions. Semi-urban and rural markets mostly demand vehicles with these attributes.

The interior of the new Bolero is expected to finally keep up with the competition. Mahindra could pour in a larger touchscreen infotainment system, updated instrument cluster, and new seat upholstery into the cabin. Although standard features such as power windows, central locking, rear parking sensors, and manual AC are likely to be found in most variants.

Not that the updated Bolero might step into luxury mode, but it will surely try to enhance comfort and convenience for long hauls into rural regions or for commercial purposes.

Mahindra Bolero Engine And Mileage

Mahindra is expected to continue using the well-known 1.5L mHawk diesel engine in the new Bolero; that engine produces a maximum 75 bhp at 2400 rpm and an incredible 210 Nm of torque between 1600 and 2000 rpm. This will be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, suited for torque-oriented performance at low speeds – perfect for rough terrains and load-carrying applications.

Mahindra may have some variation in this engine to enhance BS6 Phase 2 compliance and fuel mileage, probably around the range of 17-18 kmpl, making it one among the most fuel-efficient tough SUVs in the lot.

Mahindra Bolero Price And Launch

The new Mahindra Bolero is rightly expected to be priced from ₹9.90 lakh, going up to ₹11.50 lakh (ex-showroom) for the higher-end variants. Although Mahindra has not set the launch date formally, sources from the industry say that the launch is probably set for mid-2025.
