SASSA R1370 Grant 2025: Eligibility, Application Process & Full Details

  3. Income and Employment Status: Must not possess employment and no income or social grants.

1. Online Applications

  • Go to the SASSA SRD official website.
  • Check “your citizenship status”.
  • Click on the Application Link.

  • Complete the Application form with personal detail.
  • Attach supporting documents.
  • Submit Application.

2. In-House Application

  • Go to your nearest SASSA office.
  • Fill out an application form.
  • Submit application together with required documents to the SASSA official present.

Documents Required

To support your application, the following documents are required:

  • Original valid South African Identity Document or Permit issued to you.
  • Proof of address.
  • Bank statement or financial record(s) to accompany means testing.
  • Any other documents as may be necessary as per SASSA during the application process.
