DA hike 2025 latest news: After the central government employees, now the state government employees are also getting a gift on dearness allowance. The increase in the salaries of the employees would be Rs 6,120. Thus, this DA Hike has provided some relief to employees from inflation. Crores of employees were recently presented with a DA hike by the central government.
DA Hike Central employees were granted a two percent increase in dearness allowance. After this decision of the Union Cabinet, the dearness allowance is now 55 percent. After the central government employees, the state government employees are also set to receive a DA Hike.
Good News For Central Govt Employees And Pensioners
After the increase in dearness allowance (DA Hike) of central employees and dearness relief of pensioners, 10.40 lakh employees-pensioners of Rajasthan are going to get a big good news. With the announcement of two percent increase starting from January 1 at the Center, the way was opened for an increase for employees-pensioners in the state. The government has already set the stage to present this gift.
Millions of Employees Will Benefit
The increased amount by the state government is possible to be deposited into the GPF account of the employees. On the contrary, pensioners may be provided with a cash benefit. The benefit will accrue to 6.50 lakh serving employees of the state and over 3 lakh 90 thousand pensioners. This increase, which will provide additional burden of about Rs.820 Crore per month to the state, will put an annual burden of Rs 9,840 Crore on the Exchequer.
How Much Will Be The Dearness Allowance
The increase in dearness allowance (DA) will now be applicable to state government employees as well after the central employees. With this increase, the dearness allowance-dearness relief of the employees will increase from 53% to 55% with effect from January 1. This increment, based on the 7th Central Pay Commission recommendations, has been approved as per the formula involved. It will be a good gift to the employees from the government on Ram Navami.
Boom in Salary Hike
With a two percent increase in dearness allowance (DA hike), the employees having a basic salary of Rs 25,500 per month will get Rs 6,120 as an annual benefit. Employees will enjoy a 2 percent increase in gross salary. The dearness allowance will increase from Rs 13,515 to Rs 14,025. So that is an increase in pay of Rs 510 per month. The compensation will arrive in the employees’ bank accounts with a three-month backlog of payment.
